Do you have a question? The answer may already be here...

Unfortunately, each manufacturer has its own specific profiles and adapted peripherals. Our mast feet, mastheads and gooseneck have been designed to match our range of modern profiles. Except in exceptional cases, the replacement is compromised.

With decades of experience, we will respond quickly to your request upon presentation of your boat and with photos of the parts to be changed. Please contact us.

We have a large database of mast plans for dinghies, catamarans and monohulls, but some boats have remained more confidential. To facilitate the proposal of a replacement and to have a mast close to the previous one, you can contact us with the total length of the mast or boom, the different fittings, the length of the P (luff between the measurement marks) or the E (length of the foot) as well as the position of the hull with the anchorages of the shrouds, lower shrouds…

Wear marks will be easy to spot on running rigging, less so on standing rigging wires. If the mast has broken while sailing with the rig under load, then the wires should also be changed. If the mast profile has been damaged on land during handling and your standing rigging is new, it can be reused if the anchors on the new mast are positioned in the same place and the future wires are the right length.

Apart from suspicious aspects (broken or damaged strands), insurers require all cables to be replaced every 10 years. Nevertheless, everyone has their own more or less intensive use of their boat and it will always be reassuring to set off on a transatlantic race or a competition season with new wires.

The stiffer the standing rigging is, the more regularly it needs to be changed and the more sensitive it is to shocks. The dyform and even more so the rod should be handled with care, especially at the terminations.

For replacement, you can give us the cable lengths, diameters and terminations or drop them off for measurement.
